ikoga

overview, location

Depth:  1 - 20 m

Fish Live: a school of bannerfish and fusiliers, jacks and tunas, turtles, groupers, octopus, blue-stripe-snapper, ghostpipefish, nudibranches

Coral Growth: in the upper part very nice

North-east monsoon season as this is round tila, it doesn’t matter in which direction you start your dive; fix the boat with a rope on a coral block; from the starting point, if you dive slowly, you can surround  the tila in one hour: at some parts there are small overhangs; on the west side there is a sandy slope with coral blocks, where you find many cleaning stations; the upper part has nice corals and many anemones

Safety: be careful to choose a stable coral block for fixing the boat (don’t anker)

Experience Level: easy diving, good for check dive and beginners

Features: interesting coral blocks in about 15-20 m with many cleaning stations

Specialty: have a look for ghostpipefish in the black corals

South-west monsoon season: ditto as north-east monsoon season

Photography: macro lenses recommended, because there are many small things to see, like nudibranches
